Carlos Tevez Affair Extends Beyond The Premier League
By: Nick | May 25th, 2007
There’s little doubt that the single biggest storyline of the English football season was the appearance of The Incredible Hulk Carlos Tevez in a West Ham shirt. You can argue the many rights and wrongs until the cows some home — but something just doesn’t feel right about the whole mess.
Sadly, poor Sheffield United look set to remain the most obvious victim of the Argentinian’s cameo to help save West Ham from relegation — but it seems League One’s Brighton have some issues of their own regarding Tevez’s eligibility when the two sides met in the FA Cup on January 6th. Perhaps not as big an injustice as that suffered by Sheffield United, but worth a query I suppose — especially if they can get some healthy compensation.

Good on the Seagulls. Hell, when we spend half our time asking for tenners from fans, may as well float this boat too.
