It’s All About the Pride of the Shirt — #1. Brighton & Hove Albion
By: Nick | February 8th, 2007
This current Brighton shirt has a simple little twist on the traditional vertical striped design - nothing too fancy as to cause distraction from a classic shirt worn since 1904.
Of course what catapults this shirt into the pantheon of football greatness is the sponsor logo for Skint records - that of famous fan and club shareholder Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim).
If you have to be a walking billboard (as is sadly customary for fans these days) there are far worse corporate entities to broadcast - Emirates and AIG quickly spring to mind.
Any club shirt that features a seagull is fine by me too.

Barnet were sponsored by Loaded Magazine in 1999-2000. So when Barnet and Brighton played each other, one side was ‘Skint’ and the other was ‘Loaded.’
