Fergie’s Kid Tries to Push ‘The Posh’ Onwards and Upwards

By: Nick | March 28th, 2007

posh1.jpg When David Beckham was dumped by Man Utd, the only place you’d have expected someone with the last name Ferguson to push ‘The Posh’ would have been off a cliff - with her Spice Girl mates not too far behind.

Yet today a manager with the last name of Ferguson is quietly bedding in at League Two’s Peterborough United - and tying to spearhead an unlikely push for promotion. All this is happening to him at the tender age of 35 - which is my age, and it makes me feel like a complete loser as I blog about it in my basement.

Nick, I know what you mean. One minute you’re watching Darren Ferguson as a youngster being a pretty crap player, the next he’s managing the Posh. How time flies.
