Hartlepool Player’s Quest to Forever be Mentioned in the Same Sentence as Arsenal Goes On

By: Nick | April 3rd, 2007

pool.jpg Hartlepool United and their star winger Andy ‘The Invincible’ Monkhouse won again at the weekend, extending the teams unbeaten streak to 23, and Monkhouse’s own season long winning streak to 31.

The team are cruising to the League Two title, while the player has the real opportunity to go a whole season without being on the losing side. I don’t care what level of football we are talking about here — this would be as impressive for Monkhouse as it was for Arsenal.
