Tuesday’s Events Under the Lights

A good night of action in the Football League. It’s getting quite serious now - teams facing the drop have to start picking up vital points - and those with dreams of promotion can’t afford too many slip ups.
Poor old Leeds remain firmly rooted in relegation danger. That win boosts Birmingham - putting them back on top.
Norwich City escapes from fellow relegation candidates Luton Town with a winner in the 94 minute. Must have been a sickener for the Luton fans.
Scunthorpe opened up a stellar nine point lead at the top of League One with a nice away win. Blackpool edged closer to promotion rivals Oldham.
New Spanish Swansea boss gets a great away win to begin his time in charge - thus boosting the Swans’ promotion dreams.
Bristol Rovers are the pride of their city after a semi final derby win over Bristol City in the very un-sexily named Johnstone’s Paint Trophy - they’re now set for a trip to the Millennium Stadium on April 1st versus Doncaster Rovers.
All in all a good night’s football with the results either cementing the sense of doom for fans (Leeds) or giving them euphoric hope (Scunthorpe).
