Boston United Find Themselves in a Spot of Bother

Having witnessed Boston United’s brave bid to avoid losing their Football League status on the last day of the season in Wrexham, it is of great sadness to discover that the club will suffer a double relegation, on account of the severe financial state of the club.
It’ll be the Blue Square North Division of the Conference next season, a certain bitter blow to all those fans I witnessed give their all in support of their team under the most strenuous of circumstances.
Mere survival seems at stake for the club — unless of course a somewhat cheeky plea to Sir Alex Ferguson comes to fruition.
