American Investors Jump on the Millwall Bus

Some very welcome good news for Millwall Football Club - in light of their sorry slide down to the depths of League One a mere three years after their FA Cup final appearance.
The club with the often controversial image (mostly their fans) has been undergoing a rather dramatic metamorphosis recently - as evidenced by the work of Britain’s first black woman on the board of chairs. It’s a very heart warming story indeed.
Things are clearly looking up for Millwall - good to see their checkered past becoming just that - the past.

I think I saw somewhere that the American investors have ties to the Philadelphia Eagles whose fans have a reputation for being the Millwall of the NFL.
