Cardiff City Fans Might Get to See Premiership Football on the Cheap
By: Nick | March 8th, 2007
Following on from the earlier bit about the high cost of attending live football - Cardiff City have unveiled a novel season ticket policy should they endeavor to reach the Premiership promised land (aka the chance to play away at Bolton).
It’s an interesting gamble for fans, as they must decide to commit to cheaper season tickets well before knowing if they’ll be witnessing Arsenal’s grace or Scunthorpe United’s gristle perhaps.
But the chance to save a few quid is attractive enough it would seem. Mind you, the person selling the plan is Peter Ridsdale - and about the only thing he genuinely sold Leeds United’s poor fans was ‘up the river’.
