Following Football — When Mediocrity is Worth Watching

By: Nick | March 15th, 2007

down.jpg Micky Adams was recently fired as the manager of Coventry City - which is presumably why the BBC picked him to survey the list of lackluster Championship clubs fighting against the ignominious plunge into League One.

While the top of the League has been getting a good deal of attention for the amount of clubs still in contention for Premiership status - the battle (sic) for bottom is proving just as interest worthy (that’s if you consider the fate of a bunch of mediocre football teams worthy of your interest). I myself do.

It’ll be quite fascinating should promotion and relegation be decided on the final day of the almost ten month season..
