Fans in Portsmouth are celebrating today as hated neighbors Southampton have unveiled a statue to club legend Ted Bates that bears an uncanny resemblance to their own legend Milan Mandaric.
With fans of both clubs hardly being the best of friends - this unfortunate situation for Southampton fans is sure to provide plenty of hilarity for Portsmouth fans. I’m pretty sure a Pompey resident made the short drive Southeast to place a scarf around the statue.
