Four is the Magic Number

There’s little doubt that The Championship is in for a thrilling climax - a mere four points today separate 1st through 8th!
1. West Bromwich Albion - 63
2. Derby County - 63
3. Birmingham City - 61
4. Sunderland AFC - 60
5. Southampton - 59
6. Cardiff City - 59
7. Preston North End - 59
8. Wolverhampton Wanderers - 59
It’s a pretty wild league table that must be the envy of every other - can you imagine if the English Premiership could produce such a scenario? Nah, me neither - and that’s a great shame really.
With a little over two months to go any of those clubs could win the title, secure automatic qualification as second, or make the Premiership through the play-off system. Then there’s the two poor clubs destined to finish seventh and eighth - earning absolutely nothing… Stay tuned.
