Luton Town Players Battle Relegation by Trading Insults
By: Nick | March 22nd, 2007
Poor Luton fans must be a little bewildered at the moment as their season continues to go from bad to worse. Almost certain to be relegated from the Championship, their outspoken manager recently fired - now they have to deal with two players having a right old go at each other.
It seems an on loan forward has called the coaching staff “clowns” and termed a fellow striker as “harmless” to opposing defenders. What a charming fellow.
But a permanent member of the playing staff has hit back at the petulant loanee, calling him “a maggot of a man” and “a gutless individual”. Nice comeback. But surely this isn’t a positive sign regarding the club spirit. Keep your fingers firmly crossed Luton fans.
