Southampton Have Another Go at Statue Building

Talk about pressure. After the debacle of the first attempt and the ensuing embarrassment, Southampton have bravely decided to again commission a statue of club legend Ted Bates. Let’s hope the Saints’ fans reaction is more positive than before.
Looks like the club have done some homework though, turning to an experienced sculptor of legendary footballing figures — as opposed to the art student they presumably asked the first time.
I’ve a suspicion the club will make sure there’s no balls up again.
