Vote: Who achieved the best result of the weekend?
By: Matt P | March 15th, 2008
Leicester bounced back from recent results with an impressive 4 v 1 hammering of West Brom at the Hawthorns. Bristol City suffered their curse of not scoring enough goals as they were beat 2 v 1 at home by Plymouth. Hull put five goals past Southampton without reply whilst Wolves went to Burnley and won 3 v 1. But which was the biggest achievement?

I think Bristol City suffered the curse of being out-fought and out-fought by a markedly superior Argyle side, to be honest. Rab Douglas only had one save to make, plus City had an effort cleared off the line. Rory Fallon made Fontaine and Carey look like League 2 journeymen and Halmosi was better than Sproule and McIndoe put together.
Agree that Leicester’s was the result of the week, even if it was achieved after a red card. Hull’s tonking of the Saints can hardly be described as anything other than fully expected, and Burnley are rubbish at home.

That should of course be out-fought and out-thought. *slaps head in frustration*
