Not content to endanger the safety of rival Melvyn Levi by publishing his home address in his match program notes – Leeds chairman Ken Bates is refusing to back down by now insisting that Leeds’ dire current situation is in fact not down to Bates himself, manager Dennis Wise or even the players themselves – but squarely at the feet of Levi.
I’m familiar with the ’siege mentality’ but c’mon Ken! It’s pretty obvious that you and you alone carry a ton of culpability for Leeds’ unceremonious crapper of a season – so let’s cut out all of the nonsense shall we? In a related story – Martians are to blame for England’s World Cup exit.
