Well, they weren’t really (but then they were). It seems a crisp ten pound note has secured the ownership of Wolves for one time Liverpool buyer Steve Morgan — on the condition that he invests the slightly larger sum of thirty million pounds into the club. Needless to say the sale came out of the blue.
The general feeling at the club surrounding the surprising deal is one of high optimism, from the long suffering fans to the manager. Cue the inevitable talk of “revolution” then…
